POSTED ON FACEBOOK SEPT 3, 2010

Clay Cole:

Mike. You have been one of my most aggressive promoters. I cannot thank you enough for all your support. We both travel down the same path: Harmony Street. Love to the lovely Paulette. Your buddy, Clay

Mike Miller

You are here now

...Love you

Clay

Michael

Got an e mail from Marcia Habbib on the morning of Dec 18th, 2010 telling me that Clay Cole had passed away. I spoke to his brother Rick Rucker, later that morning and he told me that he died while taking a break from writing Christmas Cards to people that were close to him. Paulette and I were on that list. How wonderful to have had that very sweet wonderful man as a friend

Michael; Was listening today to your Clay Cole interview to gather some further background on my brother Clay Cole career, who as you know passed away in mid-December. Our family is considering the possibility of creating a Clay Cole Memorial Foundation that would, from contributions and book sales, annually award a Clay Cole Performer Award to upcoming talent, both in New York where he saw his own dream for success in show business fulfilled, and back in the Ohio area where he grew up. Your live interview with Clay has provided me with some great insights, and I appreciate the friendship you and Clay fostered during his later years. God bless you and may you have a wonderful, prosperous, and successful new year.
